By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Renegotiation Act of 1951, 65 Stat. 7, hereinafter referred to as the Act, and as President of the United States, it is ordered as follows: SECTION 1. The Bureau of Reclamation, which exercises functions having direct and immediate connection with the national defense, is hereby designated, pursuant to section 103 (a) of the Act, as an agency of the Government included within the definition of the term "Department" for the purposes of Title I of the Act. Sec. 2. In accordance with section 102 of the Act, the provisions of Title I of the Act shall be applicable to all contracts with the Bureau of Reclamation, and related subcontracts, to the extent of the amounts received or accrued on or after the first day of July, 1952, whether such contracts or subcontracts were made on, before, or after that date.
