Sections 1 and 2 of this order shall be effective with respect to acquisitions of stock of foreign issuers and debt obligations of foreign obligors made after August 29, 1967, other than acquisitions described in paragraphs (2) and (4) of section 3(c) of the Interest Equalization Tax Extension Act of 1967.
Of this order shall be effective with respect to acquisitions made after November 1, 1967.
