Mrs. Nixon S. Plummer may be appointed to an appropriate position in the Federal Trade Commission without regard to the civil service rules. This order is issued upon the recommendation of the chairman of the commission, who states that because of the illness of her husband Mrs. Plummer is compelled to support herself and small daughter and that she has the education and experience that will enable the commission to use her services to advantage.
