CALIFORNIA Under authority of the act of Congress approved June 25, 1910 (36 Stat. 847-848), as amended by the act of August 24, 1912 (37 Stat. 497), it is hereby ordered that the surveyed and unsurveyed public lands within the following-described township, in the State of California, be, and the same are hereby, temporarily withdrawn for classification and pending determination as to the advisability of including such lands in a national monument, subject to the conditions of the aforesaid acts and to valid existing claims and also subject to the withdrawal dated October 16, 1931, by the Secretary of the Interior under the act of June 17, 1902 (32 Stat. 388-390), in connection with the Colorado River Storage Project: SAN BERNARDINO MERIDIAN T. 4 S., R. 23 E. This order shall continue in full force and effect unless and until revoked by the President or by act of Congress. FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT The White House, July 25, 1933.
