By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the act of June 25, 1910 (ch. 421, 36 Stat. 847), as amended by the act of August 24, 1912 (ch. 369, 37 Stat. 497), and subject to the conditions therein expressed and to all valid existing rights, it is ordered that an island known as "Short Island", in American Lake, designated on the plat of survey accepted July 7, 1933, as lot 12, sec. 20, T. 19 N., R. 2 E. of the Willamette meridian, Washington, containing 0.29 of an acre, be, and it is hereby, withdrawn from settlement, location, sale, or entry, for use in connection with military purposes of the War Department.
