UTAH By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 24 of the act of March 3, 1891 (ch. 561, 26 Stat. 1095, 1103), and the act of June 4, 1897 (ch. 2, 30 Stat. 11, 34, 36), and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture, it is ordered that the following-described lands in the State of Utah be, and they are hereby, included in and made a part of the Uinta National Forest: SALT LAKE MERIDIAN T. 6 S., R. 3 E., sec. 5, S½; sec. 7, NE¼ and E½SE¼; secs. 8 and 17; sec. 18, E½NE¼; sec. 20, N½, E½SW¼, and SE¼; secs. 21, 26, 27, and 28; sec. 29, E½, E½NW¼, and N½SW¼; sec. 32, E½; secs. 33, 34, and 35. T. 7 S., R. 3 E., secs. 2, 3, and 4; sec. 5, E½; sec. 8, E½, SE¼NW¼, and NE¼SW¼; secs. 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, and 16; sec. 17, NE¼ and E½SE¼; sec. 21, E½, N½NW¼, SE¼NW¼, and NE¼SW¼; secs. 22, 23, and 26; sec. 27, N½, N½SW¼, SE¼SW¼, and SE¼; sec. 28, N½NE¼ and SE¼NE¼; sec. 34, N½NE¼ and SE¼NE¼. The withdrawal made by this order shall, as to all lands which are at this date legally appropriated under the public-land laws or reserved for any public purpose, be subject to, and shall not interfere with or defeat, legal rights under such appropriation, or prevent the use for such public purpose of lands so reserved, so long as such appropriation is legally maintained or such reservation remains in force. No Federal funds shall be used for the purchase of privately owned lands within the above-described area until provision is made for the purchase of such lands from the entire receipts from the Uinta National Forest.
