By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by paragraph EIGHTH, subdivision SECOND, section 2 of the Civil Service Act (22 Stat. 403, 404), Subdivision VI of Schedule A of the Civil Service Rules is hereby amended by adding thereto the following paragraph: "6. During the period beginning July 1, 1939 and ending June 30, 1940, all positions in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, except fingerprint classifiers."
