By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 55 (a) if the Internal Revenue Code (52 Stat. 29), it is hereby ordered that statistical transcript punch cards prepared by the Bureau of the Internal Revenue from individual income tax returns made under the Internal Revenue Code, as amended, for taxable years beginning in 1944 and ending on or before June 30, 1945, may be open to inspection by the Federal Security Agency; such inspection to be in accordance and upon compliance with the rules and regulations prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury in the Treasury decision relating to the inspection of such cards by the Federal Security Agency, approved by me this date.
