By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 1 of the Act of Congress approved March 31, 1936, 49 Stat. 1186, as amended, and as President of the United States, it is ordered as follows: 1. The Electric Home and Farm Authority shall cease to be an agency of the United States on the effective date of this Order; and proceedings for the dissolution of the Authority shall be instituted in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, and the capital stock of the Authority shall be canceled. 2. For purposes of liquidation and payment of its liabilities, all assets, funds, records, contracts, and property of the Electric Home and Farm Authority and the further administration thereof are hereby transferred to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. All funds remaining upon completion of the liquidation of the Authority shall be paid by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation into the general fund of the Treasury. 3. All personnel of the Electric Home and Farm Authority are hereby transferred, without change in civil service status, to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. 4.
