By the authority vested in me as President of the United States of America by Section 805 of the Foreign Service Act of 1946, as amended (22 U.S.C. 1065), and in order to further conform the Foreign Service Retirement and Disability System to the Civil Service Retirement and Disability System, it is hereby ordered as follows: 1-101. Section 882(c) of the Foreign Service Act of 1946, as amended (22 U.S.C. 1121(c)), shall be deemed to be amended (a) by striking out paragraph (1) thereof, and (b) by inserting in lieu thereof the provisions of Section 8340(c) (1) of Title 5 of the United States Code. 1-102.
